Peninsula Gardens Boyzynberry boasting a creamy wheat-oat undertone and glistening dollop
PG - Boyzynberry

Peninsula Gardens continues to carve out its space in the solventless game, and their Boyzynberry jar is another fine example of their dedication to smooth, flavorful expressions. While this one might not hit the loudest notes on the flavor scale, it offers a well-rounded experience that’s hard not to appreciate — especially for hybrid lovers looking for something balanced to kick off the day.

Look: There’s a creamy wheat-oat undertone to this jar that gives off a pale, soft glow. Not quite dry, not at all soupy just a perfectly glistening dollop that lets you know it’s been cured with care.

Smell: Opening the jar hits you with a sharp whiff of permanent marker — in a good way — backed by faint Sherb-like notes that keep the nose engaged and guessing.

Preferred Temp: I dropped this one in at 550°F on a slurper, which tends to be my line in the sand for terp integrity. Not many strains can hold up and still shine at this temp, but Boyzynberry passed the test without folding.

Taste: The Sherb and marker funk translate well, though I did find myself wanting a touch more volume on the flavor. Compared to other Peninsula Gardens jars, this one lands a little lighter on the palate but still brings a respectable, enjoyable smoke.

Smoothness: Peninsula Gardens has a thing for consistency, and smoothness is where they really flex. No scratchy throats or lung-punching inhales just a clean, buttery hit and a lingering mouth coat that makes you want to go back for more.

Melt: With how light the rosin appeared at first, I wondered if the melt would vanish into a puddle of nothing but instead, it left a strawberry blonde hue that was easy to clean and visually satisfying.

Overall: This is a hybrid that gets the job done not overpowering, not underwhelming, just right for morning sessions or midday resets. Bonus points for how well it pairs with a cup of coffee. If you're a fan of balanced jars that bring some funk without wrecking your lungs, this one’s worth trying.
