Uplyfted’s Honey Banana brings a nostalgic name with a unique twist. While many expect this strain to offer the standard ultra-sweet banana-forward experience, this jar flips the script. From the moment you open it, you're hit with an aroma that demands your attention and a flavor profile that pushes the boundaries of what Honey Banana can taste like.

Look: This rosin sits with a natural honey-ginger hue and features small terp puddles that glisten in the jar. While the product itself is visually appealing, the oversized jar choice detracts slightly from the presentation. A tighter 5ml miron jar might better showcase the texture and wetness.

Smell: There’s absolutely no mistaking this strain—it's a sharp, ultra-sweet honey aroma with a surprisingly pickle-like backend that creeps up the nose. The pungency is loud and unique.

Preferred Temp: 525ºF on a Victory Glassworks G4 slurper.

Taste: This one surprises on the palate. Instead of the usual honey-banana sweetness, it opens with a bold banana peel flavor—earthy, slightly bitter, and oddly satisfying. Quickly, the flavor morphs into a tart pickle brine, a known "nose trick" of Honey Banana, but rare to actually taste. A strange combo, yet compelling.

Smoothness: Initially smooth with great flavor, but that pleasure fades fast. The second inhale delivers a stale, plant-heavy taste that can easily catch you off guard and leave you coughing if you’re not ready.

Melt: Melt quality is a major drawback here. Despite good mouth-coating flavor, the melt left behind a noticeably dark residue—think dark cherry to ash brown. It takes away from the otherwise enjoyable experience.

Overall: Honey Banana by Uplyfted delivers a unique terp twist and a fun flavor journey—but it falls short where it counts. Great nose, creative palate, and decent smoothness—but an inconsistent melt and fading taste hold it back from greatness. With some process refinement, this could easily become a standout in the lineup.
