Fresh Press made it hard not to dive right in.

Smell: The aroma from Mitten Organics Ben OG Fresh Press hit immediately and intensely. My first deep inhale was dominated by a rustic blueberry wave, accented by a unique gassy mothball funk. The initial fruit-heavy notes were deceivingly sweet, but it was clear the funk was lurking just behind the scenes, ready to make its presence known.

Taste: From the first inhale, Mitten Organics Ben OG Fresh Press delivered exactly what I was hoping for. A rustic, woody blueberry flavor rolled across the palate before quickly transforming into a wild ride—blue raspberry slush drizzled with gasoline. The flavors were powerful and lingered throughout the entire dab, making for one of the most memorable taste experiences of the year so far.

Melt: The melt quality of Mitten Organics Ben OG Fresh Press was nothing short of excellent. After each dab, the q-tip swipes showed a clean yellowish-golden residue with little to no black particulate. It was a solid, clean melt that highlighted the craftsmanship behind this rosin.

Preferred Method of Ingesting: I enjoyed Mitten Organics Ben OG Fresh Press using my Carta V2 with the Intellicore MAX Atomizer. The rosin performed beautifully across a temperature range of 490°F to 525°F, delivering full flavor and smooth pulls no matter where I landed.

Overall: Mitten Organics Ben OG Fresh Press was a revelation. It was my first time trying anything from Mitten Organics, and they left a serious impression. Despite typically steering clear of OG strains, this dab completely outperformed my expectations. It took me on a flavor tour that competes with some of the best blue/blueberry tasting rosins I’ve had to date. Mitten Organics Ben OG Fresh Press has earned a spot on my must-revisit list.
