Wizard Trees is having a huge run

Wizard Trees is having a huge run, with tracked US retail sales up 871.1% year-on-year in September 2026. The latest figures show serious commercial momentum, arriving as the brand keeps making more noise in New York.

That was obvious at September's Revelry NYC, where Wizard Trees drew plenty of attention with two large-scale installations and consistently long queues. Its flower, pre-rolls and live resin vapes were all on display, making the brand one of the event's most talked-about exhibitors.

The growth is showing up across multiple product categories. Flower is still the biggest contributor to tracked sales, while pre-rolls have grown especially quickly. Vape sales are also climbing sharply from a smaller base, giving the brand another important part of its lineup.

New York's reaction to those live resin vapes has been mixed, especially among renters using them in different situations. Some consumers want something discreet and portable for home or travel, while others use vapes when they cannot or do not want to deal with flower, pre-rolls or other formats. That makes flavour, intensity, hardware and reliability a big part of the conversation.

Recent consumer discussions on Reddit have revealed sharply contrasting experiences, particularly around flavour, intensity, hardware and overall value. These comments should be understood as anecdotal consumer feedback, not independently verified product testing.

Some Reddit users have praised releases including Antidote and Tidebanger, pointing to strong flavour, enjoyable effects and experiences they compare with respected California concentrates. Others have had worse experiences with products including New Yorker and Jungle Juice, questioning whether the flavour and overall performance live up to what they expect from Wizard Trees.

The disagreement has also moved into conversations about California and New York releases, with some consumers wondering whether regional production and processing could explain the difference.

These are still individual consumer accounts, not verified evidence of a wider production issue. Different releases, hardware preferences, personal expectations and intended use all make direct comparisons difficult.

The timing is what makes the discussion worth watching. Wizard Trees is gaining traction fast, but that growth is also putting the brand under more scrutiny from consumers who already know its reputation and depend on its vapes for convenient, discreet use.

That matters because premium cannabis brands can run into problems when they scale. Early growth is often built on tight quality control, limited availability and a focused product identity. Once distribution expands, production increases and the brand enters more markets, keeping everything at the same level gets harder. Cookies and several other major cannabis brands have faced similar questions as their footprints grew: can a reputation built during an early, high-performing phase survive broader expansion?

For Wizard Trees, the question is especially important because the brand is closely tied to high-performance flower. Its appeal is not just the name, packaging or retail visibility. People expect distinctive flavour, potency, freshness and consistency. That expectation now applies to its live resin vapes too, especially for renters and other consumers looking for something portable and low-profile. If those qualities hold up across markets and product categories, expansion could make the brand even stronger. If performance becomes uneven, the same growth creating all this visibility could make bad experiences travel faster.

The live resin discussion points to that risk without proving Wizard Trees has lost its edge. Consumers are paying closer attention to flavour, consistency, processing, hardware performance and whether a product actually delivers what its positioning promises. For renters, portability and low-profile use can be the whole reason to choose a vape, but that does not make dependable hardware, consistent effects or fair value any less important. Reddit can show how people are reacting in real time, but those conversations still need to be considered alongside sales data, product testing and broader market evidence.

The bigger picture for Wizard Trees is still strong. Its expanding retail presence, major sales growth and reception at Revelry show how much attention the brand is getting. The 871.1% figure comes from tracked retail-sales data rather than total company revenue, so it should be treated as a measure of performance within the measured market, not a complete picture of the business.

New York's divided vape reviews add context to that growth, but they do not define it. The real question is whether Wizard Trees can keep the reputation it built through high-performance flower while moving into new markets, larger volumes and more product categories—and whether its live resin vapes can deliver for consumers who want discreet, convenient and portable cannabis use.

As Wizard Trees keeps expanding, the next few months should make it clearer whether customers are getting the same level of quality across products and markets—and whether the brand can grow without giving up the performance that made people pay attention in the first place.
