Mi Loud Flower has built a reputation for crafting potent, no-nonsense medicine and their Kota’s Kush rosin doesn’t stray from the formula. Coming in strong with classic kush funk and that unmistakable fuel-forward nose, this jar makes an impression the moment you crack it. Let’s break down the experience in this Kota’s Kush Rosin Review.
Look: This Swedish blonde jar is impressively wet, but not overly soupy. It clings to your dab tool with ease, glistening under the light and showcasing its terp-rich body. A perfect balance of structure and shine.
Smell: Immediately aggressive on the nose, Kota’s Kush screams fuel and funk. There’s a sharp gassy punch layered with earthy kush notes and a loud finish that climbs up the sinuses in the best way.
Preferred Temp/Method: 525ºF on a Victory Glassworks G4 slurper rig.
Taste: Flavor starts off earthy and kush-dominant, just like the aroma suggests. However, the backend hits a bit hot, which drowns out some of the nuance and keeps it from reaching its full potential. A cleaner burn would’ve elevated this significantly.
Smoothness: This is where the experience falters a bit. The dab has noticeable heat on the exhale, affecting both comfort and overall flavor delivery. Not harsh—but definitely room to grow.
Melt: While the visual color pre-melt is beautiful, the finish leaves a bit to be desired. Instead of a clean golden hue, the melt darkens to a copper tone, indicating a possible need for cleaner starting material or a more refined process.
Overall: I’m lit this one packs a punch and delivers real medicinal strength, making it great for heavy users seeking serious effects. Still, for competition-level quality, I was hoping for smoother performance and a cleaner melt like I experienced with their Death Star. If dialed in, this could be a monster of a jar.
