For this week’s Does it Smoke Sunday, we rolled up some Wise Guys Prodigy a strain born from Louis XIII OG x Moonbow 112 F2 #60 and it didn’t take long to realize this was a flavor-heavy hybrid worth writing about.

First Impressions: Crack into the nug and the aroma hits quick a loud citrus blast with some skunky lemon funk, smoothed out by gentle fruit undertones. My initial impression almost had me thinking of Super Boof, but once broken down, the layers really come to life. The fingers? Left reeking of dank citrus-skunk with a sweet and doughy back note.

The look on Wise Guys Prodigy is dialed-in. Smaller to medium-sized nugs absolutely drenched in trichomes, shining with frosty white-green tones and tiny yellow-orange hairs that pop under light. Visually, this flower checks every box.

Texture & Roll: The nugs felt a bit dry at first, but the second I started breaking them down, they turned instantly sticky the type of resin that coats your fingers and makes the grinder optional. The citrus-gas dough that lingers on your hands is loud. Rolled this one up in an Element TenCo King Size Wide with a 13mm rip-tip 2.5g hand-rolled perfection.

Burn & Smoke: Wise Guys Prodigy smokes effortlessly. The ash stays a clean pastel gray to near white, with an oil ring that shows up early and rides the joint all the way to the filter. No harsh hits, no throat burn just a mouth-staining gassy-citrus flavor that lingers long after each exhale. There’s a resemblance here to FVRD’s Teargas that same F2 gassy fruit terp combo that makes your palate light up with every puff, yet still feels smooth and low-smoke overall.

Effects: The high was balanced and functional, the kind of hybrid that gives you both clarity and calm. Medicinally, this one shined. Any lingering anxiety or mental static melted away, leaving me locked into the moment without feeling sedated. Wise Guys Prodigy is that rare hybrid that offers real relief without couching you.
